Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Control (QC) Intern – Manual to join our software QA team. The intern will be responsible for assisting in the manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality deliverables and meet client expectations. This role offers hands-on experience with real-world software testing projects in a fast-paced IT service environment. Outstanding interns may be considered for a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and browsers.
- Document, track, and report bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.
- Participate in requirements review and test case review meetings.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand features and improvements.
- Identify, record, and track defects thoroughly and accurately.
- Contribute to maintaining test documentation including test plans, test cases, and user guides.
- Support regression testing, functional testing, and UI testing as required.
- Learn and follow the company’s QA process and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test case management (e.g., Jira, TestRail) is a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good English proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or any programming language is a plus.
- Prior experience with internships or coursework related to software QA is a bonus.
